Youth Ambassador Academy

The Youth Ambassador Academy is an 8-week civic leadership initiative that prepares young leaders ages 16–24 across the nation to become advocates for voter engagement and civic participation in minority communities. Ambassadors will organize voter registration and outreach initiatives, create accessible and culturally relevant voter education resources, and build partnerships with community leaders and organizations.

Participants will attend weekly virtual workshops led by guest speakers, including elected officials, academics, and community leaders. Through these sessions, Ambassadors will develop practical skills in voter outreach, civic education, and community leadership.

Throughout the Academy, Ambassadors will focus on three core initiatives:

Voter Registration: Plan and support voter registration drives, engage first-time voters and young adults, and connect underserved communities with voter registration resources.

Voter Education: Research elections and create accessible resources such as voter guides, multilingual materials, social media content, presentations, and community workshops.

Community Partnerships: Collaborate with local businesses, schools, faith-based organizations, cultural associations, and community leaders to expand civic engagement and improve access to trusted election information.
