As the President of the National Youth Board for the League of Minority Voters (LMV), Saheb Nibber brings a dynamic mix of leadership, innovation, and community impact. A passionate advocate for social equity and youth empowerment, Saheb has consistently leveraged his diverse experiences to inspire action and drive meaningful change.
His unwavering commitment to inclusive growth and civic engagement began in his hometown of Houston, Texas, where he served on the Mayor’s Youth Council and Youth Police Advisory Council, pioneering new youth outreach and civic participation methods. Saheb’s remarkable resilience in overcoming bureaucratic obstacles led to him founding Smart City Sprints, an initiative that organized design sprints to engage students globally in solving real-world community issues. His work culminated in hosting hackathons addressing challenges like flood prevention and equity in education—gaining recognition from the Houston City Council and several local institutions.
Driven by a belief in the power of youth perspectives, Saheb expanded his focus with the Impact Lab, a non-profit incubator he founded to empower underrepresented youth to turn their ideas into sustainable ventures. Through this platform, he has mentored young innovators and connected them with resources and networks to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
Saheb’s leadership at LMV is defined by his dedication to fostering diverse dialogue, bridging generational gaps, and amplifying the voices of young minority leaders. His vision is to create a robust national platform where youth can coalesce around shared goals, advocate for policy changes, and bring forward actionable solutions to the challenges faced by their communities.
Saheb is an undergraduate student at the University Of Michigan studying business at the Stephen M. Ross School of business, where he is involved in various clubs and the BBA council.
