Marley J. Brailey is a dedicated honors student at St. John’s School in Houston, Texas, with a strong commitment to community service, advocacy, and the pursuit of justice. Passionate about a future in law, Marley focuses on addressing social and legal issues that affect underserved communities, including justice reform, educational equity, and infrastructure improvements. She recently served as a Council Member-at-Large on the City of Houston Mayor’s Youth Council, where she worked on the Civic Engagement and Voter Education Committees, gaining hands-on experience in community leadership and advocacy.

Marley’s experiences include completing the Harris County Attorney’s Summer Legal Academy and participating in the FBI Summer Teen Academy, both of which fueled her interest in using the law as a tool for positive change. Her commitment to equity extends to her roles as a Youth Ambassador for the City of Houston and a youth leader at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, where she actively engages in initiatives that promote inclusion and access for youth. Marley is especially passionate about the intersection of law and infrastructure, advocating for fair and safe access to roads and essential resources in all neighborhoods.
