As National Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the League of Minority Voters, Karla helps guide the organization’s strategic direction, supports sustainable growth, and strengthens partnerships that advance LMV’s mission of empowering underrepresented voices through education, engagement, and bipartisan dialogue.
Karla holds a Master of Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, grounding her leadership in rigorous training in public policy, governance, and systems design. As a military spouse, she brings lived experience and a deep appreciation for adaptability, service, and community resilience.
