Dallas Fowler is a Los Angeles native and Director of Public Affairs for the California Coalition for Worker Power. Dallas has executive nonprofit leadership and board governance experience. She also served in Mayor Eric Garcetti’s cabinet as Commissioner On the Status of Women and Panelist on the LAPD Police Permit Review Board working to combat human trafficking. Her career began in construction where she worked on many publicly funded projects and transitioned to implement a national supplier diversity program for a top 5 bank. A political consultant, Dallas has worked on campaigns over 20 years with experience in every aspect of campaign management from campaign finance to data and strategy. Her most recent statewide victory was working to elect California’s first woman Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis. She is the founder of several political action committees. Ms. Fowler was also a delegate to the Democratic National Convention for Senator Bernie Sanders both in 2016 and 2020. Dallas has also been a member to the California Democratic Party State Central Committee and the Los Angeles County Democratic Party. She has received honors from the Los Angeles Wave Newspaper and National Action Network as LA’s Most Influential African American under 40, and Democrat of the Year by the Los Angeles County Democratic Party for the 54th Assembly District.
