The League of Minority Voters (LMV) invites you to an extraordinary evening at the historic National Press Club in Washington, D.C., as we host our first-ever National Inaugural Awards & Fundraising Gala.

This landmark occasion celebrates leaders who exemplify bipartisan collaboration and a steadfast commitment to ensuring every voice is heard and every vote counts. The evening also marks the formal launch of LMV’s National Headquarters in Washington, D.C.—a pivotal step in expanding our reach, strengthening our state chapters, and deepening our impact across the nation.

State of Civil Rights Forum

On Thursday, October 30th, the League of Minority Voters will host its State of Civil Rights Forum in Portland. This annual gathering brings together Oregon’s most committed community leaders—elected officials, business executives, educators, and faith leaders—who share one common goal: building a more just and inclusive Oregon for all.

The theme of this year’s forum is Democracy: We are Greater Together. We will take this occasion to honor Oregonians who have gone above and beyond in their work for the sake of civil rights.

The League of Minority Voters “Bipartisan Happy Hour Initiative” fulfills our mission to promote bipartisan solutions on issues that uniquely impact minority voters and new immigrants. The initiative seeks to convene organizations, individuals, and associations that believe in building consensus in matters that uniquely impact minority communities. We host this Happy Hour every quarter to highlight leaders who in their accomplishments demonstrate the practical reality of working across the aisle to get things done for our constituents.
